Ronald and Arleen Gleason were married 46 years ago, November 9, 1963 at Assumption Church in Mt. Healthy.

He is the father of Tamara Moeller (Jeff) Johnston of Montgomery and Ronald R. (Lori) Moeller, Jr. of Indianapolis. He is the grandfather of Eric, Brian and Noah Johnston and Alexis Moeller.

A left handed pitcher, he was drafted from Elder HS to the Major Leagues. During his 10 year career, he threw for the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Senators and the California Angels. After baseball, he was a sales manager for an automotive products company.

Ron served in the US Army during the Berlin Crisis.
