Janet is the wife of the late William C. Buckley.

she is the mother of Michael (Valorie) Buckley, Patricia (Matt) Lawrence, Andrew Buckley and Joseph Buckley,grandmother of Matthew (Erin), Marcus and Christopher Lawrence and Lacey, Kelsey and Daniel Buckley, and the great grandmother of Aaliyah, Carson and Kaleb Lawrence.

Janet is the sister of Mary Rose Chapman, Patricia Burke, Fred (Kay) Sperber and Phyllis (Harry) Nolan.

She is a retired executive secretary. She worked for Federated Department Stores.
