Bob is the husband of the late Evelyn Bonhaus Maynard. Evelyn died in January 2006.

He is the father of Gregory (Suzanne) Maynard, grandfather of Shane (Elizabeth) and great grandfather of Sage. Bob is the brother of the late Davis Maynard.

He retired from Mosler Safe after 20 years of service. He was a mechanical designer and held multiple patents.

During WW II, he served in the Army Air Corp. S/Sgt Maynard was an Armor Specialist with the 51st Fighter Squadron.

In lieu of flowers, The Maynard Family suggests memorial donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 8041 Hosbrook Rd, Cincinnati (45236).
