Rusty was the beloved husband of Janet (nee Simpkins) Grissom. They were married on February 19, 1949 at the Hoffner Church of Christ in Northside. He was the father of Rick Grissom and grandfather of Rory Grissom. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents Jude & Eva Grissom.

Rusty worked for Cincinnati Bell for 39 years first as a linesman then installation. He also worked for the Green Township Police Department for 20 years.

The Grissom family suggests memorials be made to the charity of your choice in Rusty's memory.
