Delores Redmond née Johnson married to the late Hal Redmond. Born July 9 1928. Passed Tuesday Nov 16 2021. Delores was married to the love of her life, Hal for 57 yrs until he passed in 2005. They met at the Price Hill skating rink and were engaged two weeks later. Together they raised 8 children: Beverly Redmond Jackson, Deborah Nickell, Barbara Beyersdoerfer, Vicki Albers (Dave), Gary Redmond (Theresa), Patricia Wells (Ken), Kimberly Beckman (Donny), and Mark Redmond (Karen). She had 20 grandchildren: Michele, Mia, Tony, Monica, Meredith, Charlie, Ashley, Lauren, David, Joseph, Andy, Stephen, Katie, Joshua, Emily, Donald, Lindsey, Lexie, Tyler, and Gabe and, 29 Great grandchildren: Corey, Dylan, Sydney, Luke, Will, Kolten, Kinley and Kaylin, Brenna, Cade Cal, Ryan, Haley, Lydia, Maeve, Allison, Ava, Bella, Bryce, Cooper, Logan, Lily, Macie, Lexie, Tristan, Paisley, Everett, Theo, and Waylon. She was very proud of her children and often bragged to her coworkers and casino buddies. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her children. She taught them the meaning of hard work by working full time and raising them. Delores worked for AT&T for 30+ years and then decided she didn’t like retirement so she went back to work at Sams Club for another 19 years. Dee was a stubborn little lady earning the nickname “Bull, the Duracell battery” She was a devout Catholic, converting when she married Hal. She turned to the Church many times for guidance. In her early years, she and Hal loved to bowl, go out to dinner and have fun. She had good times traveling with Hal, often to Hawaii. Her favorite past time was going to the Casino. Hal would ask “you wanna go to the boat?” And she would be halfway out the door before he knew it. She was very well known by a lot of people who watched out for her. She loved her past time and looked forward to it every weekend. She will be truly missed. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Martin of Tours Church, Cheviot, Ohio 45211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 at St. Martin of Tours Church. Burial to follow in Bridgetown Cemetery.
