Obituary
Ruth Marian (nee Gabriel) Espelage born October 20, 1929, died peacefully at home with family on February 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Ruth, the wife of the late Anthony E. Espelage and loving mother to Tony (Chris) Espelage, Steven (Lisa) Espelage, Karen (Mark) Haidle, Carol (Rick) Helton and Michael (Peggy) Espelage; dear grandmother to Julie, Gabriel, Luke, Jessica, Michele, Samantha and Tony; beloved great-grandmother to Jude, Benjamin, Johanna, Oliver, Emelia, Sylvester, Antonia, Dominic, Phoenix, Lillian, Francine and Envie. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Visitation Church on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at 9:30 am. Reception to follow at The Bluebird House at 3877 Powner Road Cincinnati Ohio. In honor of Ruth’s love of adventure and life long learning, her family asks that any memorial donations or contributions be made to the Archaeology Research Institute: 424 Walnut Street.
