Virginia M. Houston Zind
Obituary
Virginia M. Houston Zind passed away at the age of 87 on July 22, 2023, at home surrounded by family. She was born on September 19, 1935, to the late George and Florence Zind. Virginia worked as a payroll clerk at Kroger and enjoyed gardening. She leaves behind her daughter Cyndie Houston; niece Tina Martin and her beloved “Grandpups” Gracee, Sophie, Patty, Chloe, Keeper, Daisy, Annee, Lucy and Zoe. Her sister Dorothy Zind Martin preceded her in death in 2012. Her family would like to thank the caring staff and nurses at VITAS Hospice for their care and support. A private entombment will be held by the family at St. Joseph New Cemetery. In her honor, memorial contributions can be made to humanesociety.org via the link below.
