In Ohio, prefunded funeral monies must be held by a 3rd party. Usually, because of Medicaid rules, these funds are made, IRREVOCABLE. This means, during the persons lifetime they cannot get a refund of the money. The right to retain the services of the funeral home of your choice is never taken away. If you already have a prefunded funeral plan, at your request, we can assist you in transferring it to Rebold Funeral Home and Crematory now or at the time of death.
We use an insurance product. We can tailor a plan that's right for you. From single pay plans to automatic monthly bank withdrawals designed to meet anyone's budget concerns, our staff would be pleased to outline the choices available.
Pre-funding can protect you and your family from future inflationary trends as interest is always paid on the funds you have set aside. The interest is credited toward the future higher cost of the funeral. We do not provide a 100% price guarantee on prefunded funerals. The funeral plan may include a number of items from outside vendors. We cannot control the prices that these outside vendors (ie: florist, state tax rates, cost of death certificates, escort services, limousine service, church fees, cemetery fees) set or charge us when we request service on your behalf.
If you would like to request an appointment after you have reviewed this information, we would be pleased to have one of our staff go over any additional questions you might have. You may visit the funeral home, or invite us to visit in your home.
