In Ohio, prefunded funeral monies must be held by a 3rd party. Usually, because of Medicaid rules, these funds are made, IRREVOCABLE. This means, during the person's lifetime they cannot get a refund of the money. The right to retain the services of the funeral home of your choice is never taken away. If you already have a prefunded funeral plan, at your request, we can assist you in transferring it to Rebold Funeral Home and Crematory now or at the time of death.
